Andreas Skriver Hansen
Bio
I do research mainly on tourism (e.g. nature-based, sustainable, regenerative), outdoor recreation, local/regional development and green transition.
I am a human geographer by training, specializing in the Nordic landscape research tradition.
My research often links to area management, physical planning as well as landscape studies. I also often work in and with peripheral and island geographies. Other research interests include human-nature relations and interactions, energy transformation and planning, landscape research in general, sustainable development and resilience, and UNESCO Biosphere areas.
I like working in the field and engaging with local stakeholders, thereby getting insight into views, perspectives and opinions ‘from the ground’.
I was born on the island of Bornholm and therefore have a special relationship with and understanding of island life, and particularly nature, tourism and outdoor life aspects.
