We have been researching regional and local development for more than 30 years and our team of researchers emphasizes interdisciplinary and stakeholder proximity in areas such as business development and innovation, education and the labor market, tourism and green transition. Our research contributes to the methodological quality of our analyses. Conversely, modeling tools and data enrich our research.

CRT is set in the world to create a solid knowledge base on regional development. It helps our partners navigate the transformations that can be created globally, but which affect differently regionally and locally.

Places in Transition

‘Places intransition’ is the theme of our knowledge - with a particular focus on rural-peripheralareas. Our team of researchers emphasize interdisciplinarity and stakeholderproximity in areas such as business development and innovation, education andthe labour market, tourism and green transition.

Network and Knowledge Partner

It is in partnerships that we are the best. We therefore place high priority on networking and collaboration. Collaboration with other research institutions, interest organizations, and knowledge and development actors is central to a small research environment such as CRT.

Arbejdsmarkeder og arbejdskraft i landdistrikterne

Projektet tager udgangspunkt i den stigende mangel på kvalificeret arbejdskraft set fra et landdistriktsperspektiv og undersøger sammenhænge mellem forskellige landdistrikters særlige arbejdsmarkedskontekster og arbejdskraftens differentierede mobilitetsmønstre.

Kunsthåndværkernes ø - erhvervs- og stedsudvikling hånd i hånd

Formålet med at formidle den bornholmske succes indenfor kunsthåndværk er at inspirere andre aktører i danske landdistrikter til fokusere på lokale kvaliteter og styrker, der kan udvikles, så der skabes jobs, samtidig med at stedets attraktivitet øges.
