The Byg360⁰-project is a partnership for circular municipalities in the Capital Region of Denmark. The Bornholm Byg360⁰-case aims to promote opportunities for increased reuse of building materials on Bornholm, thus creating the foundation for a circular transformation of the Bornholm construction sector. In this context, CRT was responsible for two analyses, reported in two interim reports: Report 1 aims to create a numbers-based, quantitative overview of the building stock, construction and construction industry on Bornholm and has been compiled on the basis of the collection and analysis of various publicly available datasets from Statistics Denmark on buildings and construction in Danish municipalities. These quantitative data are complemented in Interim Report 2 by qualitative data on technical, economic, regulatory and cultural/behavioural opportunities and challenges related to increased recycling of building materials. Data in this report has been obtained through interviews with a number of actors in different parts of Bornholm's construction sector, including construction companies, demolition companies, architects and consultants, construction markets, BofA and the municipality.
