The socio-economic importance of Copenhagen Airport
CRT, on the initiative of Copenhagen Airport, has assessed the socio-economic importance of aviation using CRT's regional economic model, SAM-K/LINE®. An important part of the results is that the effects can be calculated locally (for municipalities), while at the same time they are comparable to the official national figures for the Danish economy (e.g. GDP, employment, tourism accounting), which is an inherent feature of CRT's regional economic model.There has not been an official update on the socio-economic importance of Danish aviation since 2016.
