Rasmus Vendelboe

Research assistant

Bio

I joined CRT as a student assistant in 2020 while studying economics at the University of Copenhagen. When I graduated as an MSc in 2023, I became a permanent employee at CRT.

My interests are mainly in applied economic modelling, national accounting and tourism.

My main job at CRT is to maintain and further develop the regional tourism model (RTSA), which is used, among other things, to calculate the economic importance of tourism in Denmark. In addition, I have contributed to calculations to highlight the impact of tourism on the climate, which are based, among other things, on economic results from RTSA.
