CRT, together with VisitDenmark, prepares an annual inventory of the economic importance of tourism at municipal level in Denmark.

Based on data from VisitDenmark's tourism survey as well as the national accounts, CRT prepares a regional tourism satellite account (RTSA). These accounts show, among other things, tourism consumption and the value added directly generated by tourism. In addition, the derived socio-economic significance of tourism (for value added, employment and tax revenue) is calculated using CRT's SAM-K/LINE® regional economic model.

The results are published by VisitDenmark in the report: Economic importance of tourism.
