Consumption-based emissions for the City of Copenhagen

CRT, at the initiative of the Municipality of Copenhagen, has calculated the consumption-based emissions from household consumption expenditures in the Municipality of Copenhagen for the period 2010 — 2035, with the period 2022 — 2035 projected under different scenarios. The statement is consistent with the national inventory published by the Danish Energy Agency in Global Reporting.

The historical data and projection for household consumption expenditure in the Municipality of Copenhagen are taken from CRT's regional economic model SAM-K/LINE®. These data are combined with data from Statistics Denmark, Energistyrelsens amt DREAM.

The results of the project are included, among other things, as part of the material in the report: “The Status of Copenhagen” and a memo by the City of Copenhagen.
