Bio
I graduated MSc from the University of Copenhagen in 2018 and subsequently joined CRT. After a period at the think tank Hav, I am now back at CRT.
I have a broad interest in economics, including applied economic modelling, national accounting, climate economics as well as sustainable development.
My main tasks at CRT include further development and the application of CRT's regional economic model SAM-K/LINE for external parties such as municipalities, ministries, governments, consulting houses, etc.
In recent years, I have been part of a major national and Nordic project that has focused on harmonizing the methodology for assessing the environmental impact of tourism, with a particular focus on the climate burden. In this context, I have worked to further develop SAM-K/LINE to be able to calculate CO2E emissions from a local economic activity, such as the consumption of tourists in a given destination.
