The Baltic Sea Cruise Market 2003-2004

This study has been undertaken within the auspices of the Interreg IIIB project Bothnian Arc – ACTion. Centre for Regional and Tourism Research (CRT), Bornholm, Denmark, is one of the partners of the consortium. The purpose of this study is to uncover which cruise lines arrange cruises in the Baltic Sea, notably in Sweden/Finland. Subsequently selected cruise lines will be approached in a yet to be determined way, in order to investigate their interest in calling at ports in the Bothnian Arc. This paper is a contribution to already ongoing initiatives and activities in this field.
